2022年9月18日， 长城中文学校小木兰舞蹈团应邀参加了在费城中国城举行的中华人民共和国成立七十三周年的庆祝活动。在活动中，小木兰大，中，小班的姑娘们分别表演了《罗袖思》，《秀色》和《筷子舞》。姑娘们精美的扮相，优美的舞姿,获得观众们热烈的掌声，为庆祝活动增色不少。

2020年的辞旧迎新跟以往任何一年都不同。12月30日长城中文学校的小木兰舞蹈团参加了“小金人国际电影节费城地区才艺大赛”暨2021元旦网络庆典。为了弘扬源远流长的华夏文化， 为了使我们的下一代健康快乐地成长， 2020小金人才艺大赛，在以薛春和先生为首的费城组委会努力下，特邀费越、周琳等知名艺术家担任评委，广泛征集舞蹈，声乐， 乐器、戏剧和绘画青少年选手，克服重重困难， 成功组织了这次才艺比赛。长城中文学校小木兰舞蹈团迅速反应积极报名，挑选了芭蕾舞群舞《月满春江》和四个独舞的骨干阵容参赛。
晚会于2020年12月30日晚7点 于云端播出， 包括舞蹈、声乐、乐器、戏剧、字画等一共38个节目参赛展演。“东方鼓乐响起， 峨嵋功夫收盘”，选手们各个精彩才艺大显身手，经过评委们的认真评判，按照舞蹈类、声乐类、器乐类和京剧/字画类的得分，分别评出前三名选手。比赛中小木兰舞蹈团是舞蹈类成绩最为突出的队伍，芭蕾群舞 《月满春江》喜获芭蕾舞/现代舞/流行舞类第一名的好成绩。参演的小木兰成员包括 蒋伊莎， 赵奕琳，毛江晓，崔碧蕊，蔡雅婷，肖枫，司徒健恩和高凯琳，她们都在长城中文学校舞蹈课学习中国民族舞，还在芭校学习芭蕾。这支舞蹈第一次首秀是在2020年1月19日的迎新春精品晚会上，姑娘们青春靓丽，甜美清纯的舞姿，让观众陶醉其中。 小木兰舞团同时参赛的还有四支经典古典舞独舞，其中蒋伊莎的《爱莲说》荣获中国传统舞第一名殊荣，并由组委会推荐到小金人大赛总部。赵奕琳的 《楚优》和蒋伊莎的《月移水影》荣获并列第三名的优异成绩。按照得分评委给全部参赛选手分别评出一二三等奖， 赵奕琳《楚优》和蒋伊莎《爱莲说》《月移水影》荣获二等奖，肖枫《碧雨幽兰》荣获三等奖。

2018年9月22日，星期六， 长城中文学校小木兰舞蹈团第二次应邀参加了 Upper Darby International Festival社区艺术节演出. 这也是Upper Darby第二次举办这一年一度的国际节活动。演出在西郊Upper Darby 69街社区举行。 经指导老师纪兰慰教授精心编排，25个小木兰表演者穿着各种颜色亮丽的民族服装表演《小城雨巷》、《喜庆》、《傣源》、《扎西德勒》、《飞旋的舞裙》等11个节目。演出精彩纷呈，同学们舞技出众，获得现场观众热烈的鼓掌欢迎和一致的好评。最后还得到了市长亲自写的感谢信和奖状。
认真学习中国传统舞蹈艺术，积极参与社区活动，展示中国文化，让观众们欣赏到真、善、美，是小木兰舞蹈团的追求，祝小木兰舞蹈团取到更高的成就！

2017年7月4号美国费城市中心举办了盛大的庆祝＂独立日＂游行活动，全美中文学校协会及费城地区联络中心组织中国女性旗袍方队参加了此次游行。
来自大费城地区多所中文学校的老师和家长组建了展示中国传统文化的旗袍游行队，她们来自各个行业，为了共同的兴趣参加了此次活动。在当天游行中，50多位华人女性穿着漂亮华丽的中国传统旗袍，大方自信，步伐轻盈，突出地展示了华裔的风釆。当整齐优美的队形路过主席台和观众集中的地区时周围不断传来热烈的喝彩声和鼓掌声。当晚费城当地的多家主要电视台报道了中华女性旗袍游行的场面。
本次活动长城中文学校全力支持，周磊副校长作为主要负责人，从五月份即着手张罗排练、协调工作，当天还有长城中文学校的多位老师家长参加游行，名誊理事长依慧从早上9点开始就为游行队伍提供后勤服务。
美国社会重视多元化平民化的社区活动，推崇全民参加，各种族平等，这种节日庆典游行是非常好的展示中国文化的场所，充分体现华裔对美国社会的贡献。

二零一八年三月二十五日，长城中文学校举办了第11年YCT和HSK中文考试。今年考试规模空前，负责监考的义工共有18名。参加考试的学生一共有50名，其中32名参加HSK和18名参加YCT。而且仅仅考HSK四级的同学就有22名，创造了长城参加中文HSK考试的历史记录！
究竟是什么原因让今年的参考学生热情高涨呢？侨报小记者何睿采访了几名学生，问了个明白。大部分人的原因都是想为自己的将来扩展更多的机会，而拥有中文就是他们的”秘密武器”。考了HSK既可以测试他们的中文水平使得他们有机会去中国的市场发展，又可以增加他们的一些中文知识，可以说是一箭双雕。学生蒋伊莎说到：“我参加这个考试的原因很简单，因为我想要借用我的中文帮助自己在今后的人生道路上可以有更多的选择。” 小记者何睿同时也采访了长城HSK考试总负责人周磊老师，请她回顾近几年长城学生考HSK的形式和变化。周老师说道：“从2009年长城中文学校第一次举办YCT，到现在2018年已经走过11个年头了。每年至少会举办一次到两次YCT和HSK考试，已有超过200多学生参加并通过考试。这些年唯一不变的是孩子们一如既往的热情和斗志昂扬的气势。我作为负责人感到欣慰，有满满的成就感。希望能继续持续下去，长城加油！”
中文HSK和YCT考试的普及也象征着近几年在海外中文博大精深的魅力和影响力的突飞猛进。最后，预祝所有考生都旗开得胜，取得好成绩！同时也希望长城中文学校的中文学习者越来越多，更上一层楼！HSK和YCT，明年再见！
1月27日，费城地区第37届庆祝中国新年活动在宾大博物馆拉开了帷幕，我校小木兰舞蹈团应邀参加了此次活动。她们献上了一个个充满了浓郁中国风情的舞蹈，同学们的精彩表演受到了观众们的喜爱、获得了如潮的好评。

在亚都华人协会和Upper Dublin School Distric联合举办的亚太文化月活动中，我校小木兰舞蹈团建团十周年的专场演出获得了圆满成功！热烈祝贺舞蹈团的创办人、艺术总监、中国民族舞蹈艺术家、我校资深教师纪兰慰老师。衷心感谢在过去的十年中所有参加过小木兰舞蹈团的同学们、感谢为小木兰的成长和成功做出贡献的家长们、感谢支持小木兰的历届校委会理事会成员和朋友们！
长城中文学校小木兰舞蹈团在著名舞蹈教育家纪兰慰的创办下，已有十年历史。10年来，这些8-18 岁的学生每周日在这里除了学习中文，还进行舞蹈基本功和中国民族舞训练，她们的舞蹈技巧、民族舞风格的掌握和表演能力都达到很高的水平。这些小演员不但跟纪老师学习民族舞，还在课外学习芭蕾舞，艺术体操，滑冰，使得她们的舞蹈基本功更加扎实，多样。姑娘们优美的舞姿，时常活跃在费城地区节庆和各种文化活动中，为观众们带来了节日的欢乐和美的享受。2015年11月6日, 小木兰舞蹈团应费城著名的长木公园（Longwood Gardens)演出部的邀请，在菊花灯笼节表演了中国民族舞蹈，受到游园观众的热烈欢迎。她们用民族舞蹈，让美国观众了解了缤纷灿烂的中国文化。小木兰的事迹，曾多次在《世界日报》《侨报》《海华报》等媒体得到报导。除了积极参加社区演出，小木兰也参加美国了IDC （International Dance Challenge）和Groove Dance Competition 比赛，并获奖无数。这次有幸在Upper Dublin District 亚洲文化节中举办专场演出，小木兰舞蹈团拿了许多经典节目，在IDC 2012 年决赛中获得最高白金奖，演艺总决赛挑战者奖，青年组最佳服装奖，金球演艺总统奖四项大奖的古典群舞《秀色》；2016 年参加全美Groove 舞蹈比赛时， 获得最高白金奖，“最受大众欢迎提名奖”(2016 IDA Nominee-People’s Choice) 的群舞《斗笠舞》; 获Groove 舞蹈比赛最高白金奖，民族舞第一名，青少年组独舞前十名第一名的《点绛唇》；获最高白金奖，少儿组独舞民族舞类第一名的《愛蓮说》，获最高白金奖，青年组独舞民族舞类第一名的《罗敷行》，……，同时还将奉献新作《一条大河》。5 月21 号，小木兰精心为大家准备了一台妙曼的舞蹈晚会，精彩纷呈，希望与大家度过一个愉快的夜晚。五月， 舞夜， 不见不散！

For May 21 2017 Little Mulan Dance Troupe has prepared for everyone a wonderful special dance session. The Great Wall Chinese School Little Mulan Dance Troupe has been around for about ten years. It was established by the renowned dance educator, Ms. Lanwei Ji. During the past decade, these dancers between 8 and 18 years old have been trained in basic dance skills and Chinese folk dance every Sunday in addition to their Chinese education at the school. Through long term training, their grasps of basic dance techniques, Chinese folk dance style, and their performance ability have reached a considerably high level. Many of these dancers are often trained in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and figure skating outside of the Chinese school, which provides them with a sound dance foundation and diverse dance skills. The beautiful dances of the Little Mulan Dance Troupe are actively showcased at various holiday celebrations and culture events. Their impressive execution of the Chinese folk dance and Chinese classical dance brings joy and help people to appreciate the beauty within their holiday celebrations and cultural events. On November 6th and 7th, 2015, Little Mulan Dance Troupe was invited to perform at Longwood Gardens for two consecutive nights during the Chrysanthemum Lantern Festival, which attracted thousands of local residents in the Philadelphia and tri-state area. The Little Mulan dancers presented not only the beautiful Chinese dances but glimpse into Chinese culture that local residents wouldn’t normal have the opportunity to experience. Their relentless efforts in promoting and carrying forward Chinese culture in the US through their beautiful Chinese traditional dances have been frequently reported in the World Journal, Chinese Press, Chinese Metro and other local media. At the same time, the Little Mulan Dance Troupe actively participates in nationwide dance competitions at International Dance Challenge(“IDC”) and Groove dance competitions and have obtained countless outstanding awards. At this Spring season, the Little Mulan dancers are blessed with a special performance session coordinated with the Asian Culture Festival at Upper Dublin School District. The dancers will present many classical works. Among them, the Chinese classical dance, “Beauty and Grace” obtained the top Platinum Award, Performance National Challenge Award, Teens Session Best Costume Award, and Global Performance Presidential Award at IDC 2012 national competition; the Folk dance, “Dance with the Mist” was honored at 2016 Groove Competition with top Platinum Award and 2016 IDA Nominee-People’s Choice Award; the Chinese classical dance solo, “The Girl with Makeup” obtained top Platinum and two First Place awards in the category, in Teen Session together with Junior Chinese classical solo, “For the Love of Water Lily” was awarded with top Platinum and First Place in the category awards and in senior session, Chinese classical dance solo “On A Spring Day†was awarded with top Platinum and First Place in the category at 2016 Groove competition. At this upcoming May 21, Little Mulan special performance session, the dancers also will present their new Han Folk dance: “A Great River.” The carefully prepared dances by the Little Mulan Dance Troupe will bring you a splendid and exciting evening. May 21st, 2017, at 7:00pm we will see you there!
